Motocross Riding
The other day our family went to compete in a motocross event in Darfield.
First we had to pack the chilly bin with food and drinks. Then we put it in the TRD Hilux Ute. Then we hooked it up to the trailer to then put in the motocross bikes. We set off.
When you arrive, it was straight into the riders briefing which is a bit boring.
Time to race! I went to the start gates and listened as…. 10... 5... the gates dropped!
I floored it! I was coming last but I zig zagged through the other competitors. All of a sudden, I was up the front, beating my two enemies Sam and Seth.
I was a huge surprise to manage to travel from the back of the field to the winning position. It was a good thing that I never gave up but kept trying.
